This is a 4 -session private training program, designed to build progress step by step.
Session 1 – Foundations (1.5hr Home Visit)
We start by making sure the basics are in place.
This includes:
Session 2 – Real-World Training (1hr)
We meet in a controlled outdoor environment.
Focus:
Session 3 – Controlled Dog Work (1hr)
This session introduces a neutral, controlled dog.
Focus:
Session 4 – Real-World Proofing & Progression (1hr)
This session is designed to build on the progress made and test your dog’s behaviour in more realistic, everyday environments.

- Engagement and focus
- Understanding your dog’s behaviour and triggers
Session 2 – Real-World Training (1hr)
We meet in a controlled outdoor environment.
Focus:
- Loose lead walking under distraction
- Maintaining engagement outside
- Working at the correct distance from other dogs
- Building calm responses in real situations
Session 3 – Controlled Dog Work (1hr)
This session introduces a neutral, controlled dog.
Focus:
- Working on proximity to another dog
- Building calm, neutral behaviour
- Improving your timing and handling
- Teaching your dog to disengage and remain under control
Session 4 – Real-World Proofing & Progression (1hr)
This session is designed to build on the progress made and test your dog’s behaviour in more realistic, everyday environments.
Focus:
- Applying skills in busier or more unpredictable settings
- Improving consistency around real-life distractions
- Reinforcing calm, controlled behaviour under pressure
- Fine-tuning your timing and handling

Bank transfer payment in full is required at the time of booking to secure the appointment.
If you are unable to make an appointment please get in touch at least 48 hours in advance. A Cancellation Fee of 50% is applicable for cancellations within 48 hours of the original appointment as the slot would have been secured and no longer available for someone else to book.
Evening (if the appointment runs until after 6pm) and Weekend/Bank holiday sessions are bookable with a £28 extra charge.
Areas further than 10 miles from Bath will require a small Travel Fee of £2 per extra mile. (This is calculated based on Google maps). Any parking fees must be covered as well for the duration of the session.
